原石材CEPPO DI GRE’产至意大利北部米兰，当地90%的古老建筑使用了此种石材作为外墙装饰。目前这种石材的采石场已接近被开采完的状态，在市面上近乎绝迹。
尽管这款石材非常珍贵而时尚，但在实际运用中却有很多限制，例如它表面气孔多，一般只建议用于墙身铺贴，在地面使用的话需要配合巨大的灌浆和平滑工作。
